ICC Teams:

(Annual) Maintenance Team (email)

The Maintenance Team consists of all the maintenance managers from all houses. It provides a forum for Maintenance Staff to train managers on common maintenance tasks as well as providing a place for managers to network with others and discuss maintenance issues.

Dispute Assistance and Resolution Team (DART)

DART's mission is to instill and support a culture of conflict resolution in the ICC which is consistent, balanced and fair. DART advises ICC members and houses on conflict resolution pathways that are proactive, peaceful and fair. DART supports a variety of dispute resolution pathways including: Mediation, facilitation, Training, Member Panel Hearings. (Go to DART web page.)

Technology Team (email)

The Tech Committee is made up of a Tech Chair, interested members, some Board members and the ICC Web masters. They formulate policies about technology issues in the ICC for the Board and administer the ICC Technology Fund with expertise and discretion for Tech related loans to houses for equipment and other proposals brought forth.

Web Team (email)

Under the direction of the ICC Staff Webmaster, the ICC Web Team responds to requests from staff and members for new website features and programs. Educates and works with staff, members, and houses on making website changes and using features. Updates House pages. Fixes bugs, broken links and other website errors. Writes/edits PHP, Javascript, HTML and other code. Writes/edits SQL (for ICC database interface). Assists in the development and implementation of interactive features.

Co-op Solidarity Team (email)

The Co-op Solidarity Team aims to provide support to the cooperative and Fair Trade movements both locally and abroad. The team intends to educate ICC members about these movements, as well as promote the principle of "cooperation amongst cooperatives" by encouraging mutually beneficial relationships between the ICC and other cooperative ventures. The team also provides an opportunity for members to deepen their commitment to cooperative causes beyond the ICC, supporting the missions of local organizations such as Food Not Bombs, the United States Social Forum and the UM student organization, Students Organizing for Labor Equality (SOLE). Current projects include the creation of a calender of Cooperative and Solidarity-related events to be added to the ICC website, facilitating skill-shares led by area co-op businesses, and promoting the inclusion of more cooperative and Fair Trade products within house and ICC budgets.

The Co-op Solidarity Team also maintains the low-volume Co-op Solidarity Announcement List for interested ICC members and co-op friends to learn about co-op-related events, news, and discussions. To join the list, enter your email address in the box below!
